Fire Academy 2005-17 found time during their extremely busy academy schedule to help the American Firefighters Motorcycle Club of Maine by selling t-shirts. 

After some bad weather and a tough selling location, The AFF-MC of Maine returned from Laconia with hundreds of unsold t-shirts.  These shirts represented a huge upfront cost for the charity and without selling the t-shirts, the charity would have taken a significant financial hit.  The money raised was used to start this new chapter of the AFF-MC and to make it's first of hopefully many donations to the Maine Burn Survivors Camp.

Upon hearing of the situation, the fire academy worked together to sell the remaining Laconia 2005 t-shirts after class and helped put the AFF-MC of Maine into the Black.
